When will ShortList: Wedding Venues be available?

We're putting the finishing touches on the app and expect to launch on both the App Store and Google Play soon. Join our waitlist to be notified the moment it's available.

Is ShortList: Wedding Venues free to use?

Yes! The free plan lets you compare up to 2 venues with full scoring and questionnaire access. We also offer Plus (from £2.66/mo quarterly) and Pro (from £5.33/mo quarterly) plans for couples who want to compare more venues and access premium features like PDF reports, dark mode, venue showdown, and more.

How does venue scoring work?

You answer 50+ questions about each venue across 7 categories: Venue, Catering, Accommodation, Logistics, Aesthetics, Services, and Value. Each venue gets an objective score from 0-100%, making comparison straightforward and data-driven.

Is my data private?

Absolutely. All your venue data is stored locally on your device - we never upload it to any server. No account is required, and you can export or delete your data at any time.

Can I export my venue comparisons?

Yes! All users can export to JSON. Plus subscribers can export PDF reports, and Pro subscribers can also export to CSV. Your data is always yours.

What is the Picker Game?

The Picker Game (Pro feature) is a tournament-style decision helper. You're shown two venues at a time and swipe to pick your favourite. After several rounds, a champion is crowned - helping reveal your true preferences beyond the numbers.

What's the difference between ShortList and PerfectDay Weddings?

ShortList: Wedding Venues focuses specifically on venue comparison and selection. PerfectDay Weddings is our full wedding planning app covering budgets, guests, timelines, and more. They're designed to work together - shortlist your venue first, then plan your wedding!
